Complete Fabrication worked closely with artist Svein Moxvold to create this life size version, which included the fabrication of an exact copy of a face, hair and body. A tailor made suit and bags were also made by our team of talented model makers and fabricators. A conceptual art installation by Svein Moxvold. A true to life model was hung in the trees above Kunstnernses Hus gallery in Oslo as part of the Norwegian government’s art exhibition. The work is about people in ‘strong positions’ in society (politics, religion or business). Demonstrating as soon as you’re ‘hanging’ there, between ‘heaven and hell’, everyone is the same.

The latticework was made up of three different sized interlocking pressed anodized aluminium flowers. 'Mirrored A'

Geometric letter form with each plane covered with a single piece of mirror, hanging level from a single suspension point. The form entirely reflecting its surroundings. There could be no flex in the structure, or it would crack once hung. Some of the single mirror sections produced were 'U' shaped.

Robot designed and made by Complete Fabrication for 'Design Reused' exhibition. Completed robot which pulsed with internal light from an old police siren unit sorting through its rubbish.

Robot was made from left over material parts of previous Complete Fabrication jobs; motors, lighting, rubbish bin and items from Deptford market. It was in situ at Laban, Portcullis House and a local primary school. One of the chromed ex display unit boxes used to construct the feet, reflects the underside of the robot

3G Launch Window

External and Internal shop display at Vodafone store, Oxford Street, London. The window consisted of 6 themed video displays, graphics and star light including videos, lights and sculptural elements.

Jukebox I & II

Collaboration on the construction and assembly of an ambitious interactive work by Tacita Dean for Tate Britain and MMA Barcelona.

The Wall

Wall of 18 'concrete panels' in a light weight material for Ryan Gander at Sheffield Contemporary Art Forum. Panels with required wood grain similar to concrete shuttering. Drips of plastiline on the mould were used to create the air bubbles which can be seen in the casts.

'Odyssey of a Cockroach'

Giant, life-like, lightweight and demountable baseball bat for Yoko Ono exhibition at the ICA. The profile of the small bat used for the model was brought into CAD, scaled up and CNC cut in polystyrene.

Tutankhamun Countdown Clock

Large, stone statue style, installation for the entrance of London's O2 dome Tutankhamun exhibition. The countdown clock displayed days, hours, minutes and seconds until the exhibition opened. A plasma screen displayed a video about the forthcoming exhibition.

Big Dipper Mechanism

Big Dipper dips 24 chandeliers of wick and wax, in 12 hours. Made for Sarah Van Gamaren to install at the Design Museum. The installation also required creation of temperature controlled wax vats.

Fish Bar

5.5 metre glass-topped table for luxury fish restaurant at 101, Sheraton Park Tower. Interior of table design based upon razor shell surface texture. The restaurant’s bar seats 22 guests in an elegant yet casual setting. This handcrafted table for eight – its exquisite pearl texture reminiscent of the inside of a shell – takes centre stage for larger groups or shared by guests dining alone or in pairs. 3D designs for the bar were generated in house and prepared for steel & polystyrene cutting. Laser cut steel fabricated into a base for the leg of the table.

KENT Exhibition Stand

Executive cigarette brand - mobile display stand with video screens and laptops. Screens display product information while a central rotating display shows off the product itself. laptops run interactive software.

Chinese Junks Display

Series of vari-sized red laquered Chinese style junk boats for instore display at Selfridges. Attached to ceiling so that some sails & masts are cutting through.

Lauis' Folly

Arcade style interactive machine. Hardware fabricated by Complete Fabrication and integrated with supplied bespoke software. Custom built cabinet containing computer and av equipment to emulate game play. Joystick & control panel for artist Paul Noble.

Deers & Swing Display

In Store Display for Selfridges - Two Grazing deers and a life size swing hanging from semi-naturalistic branches emerging from the ceiling.
